Powerful young voice from Port Elizabeth. Alexis was born Nicole Williams on 9th November 1988.

    Alexis

    Broken Innocence
Alexis hails from Port Elizabeth and is only 14 years old, but make no comparisons to other young female singers like Michelle Branch and Avril Lavigne. Alexis sings in her own style and with a powerful maturity on 'Broken Innocence' and on her lastest album 'Overload' from which this track is taken. This is a slow-burning song that needs to be listened to all the way through. The notes Alexis hits after about 3 and half minutes will leave you breathless. [BC, February 2003]
    Game Over (Love Fool)

    Alexis

    Overload
The title track from the 3rd CD by PE schoolgirl Alexis. This is a difficult song not to like, and you've probably heard it on the radio too. [BC, March 2003]
    Safe In You

  • All Night Radio
One of SA rock's most talented and unassuming singer-songwriters, Steve Louw first hit the spotlight with his mid-'80s band, All Night Radio and then formed Big Sky in the '90s. More
    Bernadette
Big Sky's Steve Louw formed All Night Radio in 1984 with Rob Nagel (who went on to be a Blues Broer) and Nico Burger. 'Bernadette' is taken from their second album 'The Killing Floor' (Nagel had left by this time) which has not yet been released on CD, so this is taken from the original vinyl. Legendary producer Kevin Shirley was the producer & engineer on this Bo Diddley-style blues-rocker.
